    yup so... yes. Punk is a way of life. true. but think about it. what is it really based on? historically, punks were not "non-conformists" per se. THey were just grungy ****ing kids who had radical ideas and ways of life. They dressed they way that they dressed to shock people into paying attention to their purpose, and had the attitudes that they had because of the way that most of them had been treated throughout their lives. THey saaw a need for change in many venues, not just fashion or music. Most punks were politically minded individuals who were not obsessed with not conforming in any way, but were instead people who were just pointing out what they saw as wrong. Many punks in the early days of the movement wore swastikas and other SS symbols as a way to point out what they felt the American and British gavernments were reverting to. The point was overhaul, and one punk was not
